this page is dedicated to highlighting norton's various costumes and the events he's been part of! i love these so much, they're so cute, and he even gets to be happy in some of them LOL! some of this will be me theorizing, which i will do my best to mark as clearly as possible as not being canon so no one gets confused :] i own like none of these because i'm broke and netease hates gay people (me) but alas... maybe one day :] all gifs and showroom photos included in this page were retrieved from the identity v wiki unless otherwise stated!

highway cavalier is a prospector skin linked to the call of the abyss IV lore. each call of the abyss story is implied to be one of orpheus' novels, and this one has a racecar theme. the story centers arouond norton and his teammates attempting to defeat bane at a magical 24 hour race. going to be honest, call of the abyss lore baffles me to no end, so i'm not going to get super into it, but the lore centers around the three big corporations, the transportation co, the energy co, and the pharmeceutical co, with norton having been apart of the transportation co before leaving to focus on the great race. the great race actually takes place within dream witch's nightmare world and is being used by the corportations to study abyssal creations. norton's enemy gamekeeper/molton hound was a creation of tracy with the energy co, but he broke free and became a monster after winning in the race. many people band together to help norton defeat bane, including fiona, mike, demi, and murro, but losing the race causes them to leave the dream world and then have their bodies age rapidly in the real world. while norton does eventually defeat bane with the help of his friends, he is the only winner, and as a result he has to watch his teammates wither away. other relevant characters not mentioned here include: burke, robbie, luca, victor, andrew, and galatea.

oh my lord highway cavalier you are everything to me. was my easy all time favorite identity v costume (all characters) until summer frisbee came out, but even then i think it still edges out summer frisbee because of how much i love the lore (and mike is here too which definitely endears me to it. i'll never stop thinking about norton dragging mike out of the water in the trailer...). i have sosososo many thoughts about the great race, it is easily my all time favorite identity v event i'm never not thinking about it. i love how norton is written for this event, he's a knight!!! he gets called a knight!! (gravekeeper's "patrol"'s description). as much as blonde norton haunts me, i think it's less offensive to me here than it is in summer frisbee (i love you summer frisbee but whyyyy are you blonde). the jacket is sososo cool and as an aspiring car guy myself, there is nothing more fun to me than a guy who really loves his car (he names her!!!) also mike is here. which i can not overstate how fun that is for me, i love you pumping tires. honestly all the costumes for this event are solid, except for maybe molten hound, which like. not a bad costume, but i've never met someone who likes it more than any of the a tiers, and i know MULTIPLE people who got it but none of the a tiers and were kind of devestated LOL so i have a bit of a vendetta against it.
